Meet The Foles
ABOUT THE BAND
The Foles are a Cincinnati based acoustic Americana/Folk trio consisting of Tim Hinde (guitar, vocals, harmonica), Adam Sanregret (upright bass, vocals), and Stan Ginn (cajon, percussion) who have logged over 400 live performances since forming in 2008. The Foles are most recongnized for creating a fun live experience with a refreshing song selection and unique mix of instrumentation and can always be seen on the final Friday of each month through the Summer at The Oak Tavern in Oakley.
Their original music is driven by strong melodies and a cool beat and their cover selections are songs you dig but don’t typically hear. Modern influences include Mumford and Son, Avett Bros, Old Crow Medicine Show, Cake, Wilco, and The Decemberists while traditional influences include Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, and The Band with touches of Violent Femmes, REM, and U2. With approximately 200 songs in their playlist, The Foles craft shows to please most any audience or venue and are capable of performing an all original performance or a more cover song oriented performance where everyone can sing along. A typical show consists of a nice mix of both.
The Foles have performed at many venues in and around the Greater Cincinnati Region including Arnold’s Bar & Grill, The Oak Tavern, Molly Malone’s, deSha’s American Tavern, Japp's, Myrtle's Punch House, The Silverton Café, The Rookwood Pub Mews, Fountain Square, Sawyer Point, The University of Cincinnati, and Elk Creek Vineyards in Owenton, KY.
